COACHING
What is coaching? You may or may not be familiar with coaching but let me share my experience growing up playing sports. Many of you probably have played sports and had a coach, so this might sound familiar.
I had several coaches with different styles and personalities but they all had one thing in common, they cared too much about me to keep where I was currently at. They identified my current behaviors and modified them for better of team. When it came to the mechanics of the sport, they focused on the “how to” and the “why to”, not so much on the past. They taught me skills I could use in the future in that sport and in life. Finally, the good coaches, focused on making the relationship the best it could be and not just looking into the past. In the same way, I will partner with you on your journey whether in your life or marriage?
What’s involved in coaching?
In our standard coaching , I have laid out six sessions that we will meet virtually, lasting 60-90 minutes each. Throughout the sessions we will use a combination of scripture study, listening to suggested audiobooks (mainly for time-saving purposes), reading support materials and or books, and finally the application and discussion of what are learning.
